Jairam Ramesh on Bharat Ratna: Congress National General Secretary (Communication) Jairam Ramesh has once again taken a dig at the Central Government’s announcement of Bharat Ratna award to the country’s former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani. The Congress leader said that when Bharat Ratna was to be announced, the typist must have made a mistake. He might have mistakenly typed Advani instead of Adani.

He said that the separation of Nitish Kumar and Jayant Chaudhary from the India Alliance of opposition parties will not have any impact. He sarcastically said that Nitish Kumar has done a U-turn and RLD Chief Jayant Choudhary is trying to do the same. Jairam also said this with full force that the India Alliance will soon take a decision on seat sharing. India Alliance is completely strong and is moving rapidly on the future strategy regarding the elections.
Final decision on seat distribution in many states will be taken soon
On the tussle over seat sharing in the India Alliance, the Congress leader says that continuous discussions are being held with the Nationalist Congress Party, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena, Aam Aadmi Party and TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee. After all this, soon the final decision regarding distribution of seats in many states will be taken.
